The makers of Dhurandhar: The Revenge released the much-awaited trailer on Saturday, giving fans a thrilling glimpse of the sequel ahead of its theatrical release on March 19. The film, starring Ranveer Singh, will also have paid premiere shows on March 18.
The three-minute and 25-second trailer showcases the return of Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza Ali Mazari, who is now determined to seek revenge. The story appears to unfold in Pakistan’s Lyari town, where Hamza takes control following the death of Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna. At the same time, SP Aslam Chaudhary and Major Iqbal are seen pursuing their own missions, creating an intense conflict.
The trailer also reveals glimpses of Hamza’s past identity as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, showing his journey and training to become a spy. The action sequences look grand, intense, and extremely violent, promising a high-octane cinematic experience.
The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, and directed by Aditya Dhar. It will be released in theatres in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Initially, the film was expected to clash at the box office with Toxic starring Yash. However, the makers of the Kannada action film later postponed its release to June 4, clearing the way for Dhurandhar: The Revenge to arrive without competition on its scheduled date.
