In 2024, the Telangana government revived the prestigious State Film Awards, renaming them the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards in honor of the legendary revolutionary poet and singer Gaddar. Today, the winners for 2025 were announced.
The 2025 Telangana Gaddar Awards saw the small film Raju Weds Rambai take home the best film award, while Megastar Chiranjeevi was honored with the legendary NTR award. Naga Chaitanya won best actor for his role in Thandel, and Chaitanya Jonnalagadda earned the best actor (Jury) award for Raju Weds Rambai.
