Originally, Malayalam star Tovino Thomas was set to play the villain. However, he opted out of the project, as the extensive call sheets required could clash with his commitments to Malayalam cinema.
This unexpected exit surprised many NTR fans who were eager to see the two actors share the screen. Recently, rumors suggest that Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor may step in to replace Tovino. The producers are reportedly very keen on bringing Shahid into the project.
Shahid Kapoor, known for his powerful performances, would be a major addition to the cast if the speculation proves true. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, Anil Kapoor has a significant role, and Ravi Basrur is composing the music.
