It was earlier reported that JioHotstar, which holds the streaming rights, would release the film around May 14, 2026. However, fresh rumors suggest that the OTT premiere has now been pushed to the first week of June.
The reason behind this delay is the Indian Premier League (IPL). With the tournament entering its thrilling final stages in mid-May, the makers believe that releasing the film during this period could affect its viewership. Instead, JioHotstar is strategically planning to launch the film after the IPL concludes, ensuring maximum attention and audience reach.
Fans will now have to wait a little longer, but the move could prove beneficial, giving Dhurandhar: The Revenge the spotlight it deserves on digital platforms. An official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
