With massive expectations already surrounding Dhurandhar 2, actress Yami Gautam has taken the excitement to a whole new level. The film’s director, Aditya Dhar, happens to be her husband, and Yami recently shared her first review of the movie, calling it far beyond expectations.
What Did Yami Gautam Say About Dhurandhar 2?
Speaking at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit, Yami revealed that she has already watched Dhurandhar 2 — and it left her deeply emotional.
“I have watched Dhurandhar 2. It is beyond expectations. I was truly emotional while watching it. I had a flight that day, so I couldn’t immediately tell Aditya how I felt. But even afterward, I couldn’t focus on anything else. I had to read a script, but I couldn’t. I wanted to watch something, but I couldn’t. I just sat there looking at the beautiful sunset outside, thinking about what I should tell Aditya once my flight landed. I wanted to properly express my experience and what I felt about the film,” she said.
Yami further added that Aditya Dhar has poured his heart and soul into the project. “Aditya deeply loves his audience and his country. He has given his everything for this film. Dhurandhar 2 will give audiences an experience they will never forget,” she stated.
Titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the film is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. Except for Akshaye Khanna, most of the cast from the first part will return for the sequel. The film is set to clash at the box office with Yash’s Toxic, and reports suggest that Emraan Hashmi may also appear in a key role.
