As the iconic Gabbar Singh combination returns for Ustaad Bhagat Singh, expectations were naturally high. But director Harish Shankar, music director Devi Sri Prasad, and Pawan Kalyan did not meet the expectations of fans with the film’s second single, Aura of Ustaad.
The song was launched grandly yesterday, which was filled with massive elevations and hype. Though the online version was released a little late, fans waited patiently, expecting it to deliver a double dose of the energy they experienced with Dheek Leengae Saala. But things turned out differently.
Aura of Ustaad has been receiving a mixed response on social media. Though a section of fans is enjoying it, some feel the lyrics sound too routine and question the choice of words., while others say the tune is not instantly catchy.
That said, Devi Sri Prasad has previously delivered songs that initially received negative feedback but later went on to become chartbusters. Now, it needs to be seen whether Aura of Ustaad will follow the same path or remain a disappointing one.
This is often the downside of massive hype. When people expect another instantly catchy track like those from Gabbar Singh, songs like Aura may not connect immediately. As a result, that disappointment reflects in various forms online.
