Pookie, a Tamil Gen Z romantic drama starring Ajay Dhishan and RK Dhanusha, is directed by Ganesh Chandra. The film was released as a Valentine’s Day special but failed to make an impact at the box office. The film was titled “Bookie” in Telugu.
Now, the movie is heading to OTT. ZEE5 has officially announced that Pookie will begin streaming from March 13, 2026. As said above, the film was also released in Telugu under the title Bookie, but Telugu audiences did not give any better response than Tamil. As of now, there is no clarity on whether the Telugu version will be made available on OTT on the same date.
The film is produced by Vijay Antony, who also composed the music. The supporting cast includes Manchu Lakshmi, Pandiarajan, Indumathi Manikandan, Vivek Prasanna, Black Pandi, Aditya Kathir, and others.
