The makers of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan starrer, Ustaad Bhagat Singh (UBS) have approached the Supreme Court challenging the High Court decision related to ticket hikes in Telangana state.
As many know, the Telangana High Court has passed an order regarding the ticket price hikes. It states that any movie which wishes to get hikes must take the court permission 90 days prior to the film’s release. Given the Telugu releases scenario it was an impossible scenario, and many doubted how it could be possible.
When Ustaad Bhagat Singh was announced for March 26th (initially), everyone was curious to see how things would go related to the ticket hike. Later when it got preponed to March 19th, it was assumed that there would be no hike at all, as the time is running out.
However, Mythri Movie Makers have surprised everyone by approaching the Supreme Court. The interim order gives them a relief and allows them to hike the ticket rates after taking an official Government Order for the same.
Harish Shankar directs Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Its his second film with Pawan Kalyan after the sensational blockbuster Gabbar Singh more than a decade ago. Sree Leela and Rashi Khanna play the heroines in this commercial entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad provides the music whereas S Thaman composes the background score.
