After a surprising opening day, the Raja Saab starring Rebel Star Prabhas has shown a drop in collections. A second-day drop is usually fine, after a big opening day for Telugu biggies. However, it’s the lack of growth during the evening shows that rings alarm bells.
The Raja Saab has collected a little above 36Cr on its opening day. The second day collections saw a similar trend on the second day as well, with Nizam leading the pack. It is almost half of the rest of the territories combined. And the thing of concern here is that Nizam itself is low.
The Raja Saab is now competing with Radhe Shyam among the Prabhas starrers after the two Baahubali movies. The advances for the third day suggest worst fears coming true as an inevitable crash seems to be on the horizon. If that’s the case, it would be a big shock to the entire trade, considering the pre-release expectations and Prabhas’ stardom.
