Fans waiting for the Telugu premiere shows of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, were left disappointed today. Due to technical issues in content delivery, all paid premiere shows planned for March 18 in Telugu and other dubbed languages for Dhurandhar 2 have been officially cancelled.
Online platforms such as BookMyShow and Paytm have already removed listings for these shows, and organizers have initiated a full refund process for audiences who had purchased tickets. The setback only affects the regional language premieres. The Hindi version remains unaffected, with content ready for screening, though a few shows may be delayed or canceled depending on the theater’s technology for content loading.
Despite the cancellation of premieres, the film — certified ‘A’ by the censor board and running for 3 hours 49 minutes, will have its grand worldwide release tomorrow (March 19, 2026) in all planned languages.
Advance sales for the film have already set new records, with the sequel, Dhurandhar 2, being released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The sudden cancellation of evening premieres across four languages has come as a shock, but trade analysts believe the film’s strong pre-release momentum will carry forward into its theatrical run.
