Ahead of the grand release of Dhurandhar The Revenge worldwide on March 19th, the makers decided to release the first part, Dhurandhar in theaters on March 13th.
The makers planned to release the movie in 500 screens worldwide, but due to the increasing demand, they more than doubled it. Dhurandhar is now screening worldwide in more than 1250 shows across 1000 screens.
For a re-release, it is a new record of sorts. The exciting thing here is that the movie is getting good occupancies as well. The lack of new releases and the general enthusiasm surrounding the movie is making all this happen.
As it is, Dhurandhar had an extraordinary run theatrically. In fact, it was in theaters as late as February itself, despite the OTT release. It has been only a few weeks and the action thriller is back in the theaters again.
Aditya Dhar is setting new benchmarks with each of his new films as far as movie’s run is considered. The Part One has collected close to 900Cr** Domestically. If he does the same with the sequel, Dhurandhar The Revenge, many unheard numbers could be seen with the movie’s theatrical run.
For now, though, it is a good chance for those who haven’t yet watched the phenomena in theaters to give it a try. Dhurandhar The Revenge will be hitting the cinemas soon in a few days on March 19th worldwide.
