    Funky Movie Review

Despite Parasakthi having the emotional potential, Sudha Kongara fails to fully bring it alive. Scenes that should have been powerful, like elderly women unable to send money orders due to Hindi imposition, or the scenes where the protagonist loses loved ones, at the beginning and in the initial phase of the second half, fall flat. Emotional beats arrive but lack depth, leaving audiences unmoved. Parasakthi is honest in intent, but loses its impact in translation.

Like many films dealing with sexual assault, Euphoria repeats triggering dialogues and incidents, which feel unnecessary. The handling of legal proceedings, such as parole, looks silly and undermines the film’s intent. Subplots involving drug addiction and a psycho killer running a drug racket are poorly executed, adding no emotional weight.

In With Love, Satya’s character occasionally behaves in a silly way, such as checking Monisha’s phone during a crucial moment. Though questioned by Monisha, the scene doesn’t carry the weight it should. Differences between Monisha and Satya’s mindsets are also not explored deeply enough. Anaswara Rajan steals the show in With Love.

In Sri Chidambaram Garu, Director Vinay Ratnam makes a strong point about how society often looks down on people with physical disabilities. The first half blends emotion and light-hearted moments well, with the love story between Solomon and Leela feeling natural and engaging. Both Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vashishta deliver sincere performances that carry the film. The interval scene is intense, and the second half has some poignant moments that leave an impact. Authentic visuals and fitting music further enhance the narrative.

When reporters asked him directly whether he had really paid ₹120 crore for the rights, Dil Raju responded firmly. He said that if anyone doubts the price he paid for Yash’s Toxic, he is ready to show his bank statements after transferring the money. However, he smartly avoided revealing the exact amount.
