The recent Bollywood hits Dhurandhar and Tere Ishk Mein are receiving a strong response after their OTT release on Netflix.
Initially, some viewers complained that the visuals of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar on Netflix did not match the theatrical version. The streaming platform quickly addressed the issue and made the necessary corrections. Meanwhile, Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, faced criticism from a section of the audience for its comparatively weaker character development. Despite these concerns, both films are now recording impressive viewership numbers.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film, Dhurandhar, which was a sensational blockbuster in theaters, has emerged as a major success on Netflix following its release on January 30, 2026. The espionage thriller quickly topped both global and local charts. It became the No. 1 non-English film worldwide, collecting 15.80 million views within its first 10 days, which is the highest for an Indian film on the platform since 2024.
The film recorded 7.6 million views in its first three days and added 8.2 million views in the following week (February 2–8), reaching a total of 15.80 million views in just 10 days. Despite its politically sensitive storyline involving cross-border terrorism and a Karachi backdrop, the film is also trending at No. 1 in Pakistan. Its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
On the other hand, director Anand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein has also performed strongly since its OTT premiere on January 23, 2026. In its second week (January 26 to February 1, 2026), the film secured the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s global Top 10 list for non-English films. It garnered around 3.8 million views during its opening weekend.
As of mid-February 2026, the film continues to hold a solid position, currently ranking No. 2 among the Top 10 Movies in India.
