However, Anil Ravipudi responded to these news and made interesting comments. He clarified that there is no truth in those rumors. He also stated that he has not even started story discussions regarding a new project.

Director Anil Ravipudi teamed up with Megastar Chiranjeevi for the first time with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Released this Sankranthi, the film is performing successfully at the box office. While there have been several rumors in industry circles about his next project, Anil Ravipudi has now made a smart and clear move.

It is well known that Ravipudi earlier directed Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Venkatesh, which was released during last year’s Sankranthi and turned into a massive blockbuster. After the success of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, many reports suggested that he would work on a sequel to Sankranthiki Vasthunam. However, the director seems to have different plans.

In a recent media interaction, Anil Ravipudi revealed that his next film will be very interesting and based on a fresh and crazy idea he has recently developed. He added that the title itself will be unusual and exciting, making people think, “This guy is starting all over again.”

With this statement, it is now clear that Ravipudi’s next project will not be a sequel to Sankranthiki Vasthunam. At a time when many filmmakers prefer safe and easy paths to success, Anil Ravipudi has chosen to go ahead with a fresh script, once again proving that he thinks differently.

Anil Ravipudi’s Views on Remakes

Speaking about remakes, Anil Ravipudi shared an interesting perspective. He said that while he feels happy when his films are remade in other languages, he is not interested in directing those remakes himself. He revealed that even though he had opportunities to remake Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Bhagavanth Kesari in other languages, he chose not to do them.

He further explained that his entertainment films cannot be made simultaneously in multiple languages like pan-Indian films. The reason, he said, is that comedy changes from region to region, and the humor that works in one language may not work the same way in another.
